Katherine in her Mara Jade costume

Katherine

Executive Director

Katherine has been a fan of Legends since she discovered a copy of Ambush on Corellia in the back of her middle school library. From there she found the Jude Watson books, and voraciously read her way through the majority of Star Wars books and comics available to her. Despite suffering a near fatal head-on collision in 2023, she has joined Legends Expo as its Executive Director.

Katherine is a member of several of the major Star Wars global costuming organizations, and has held numerous leadership roles within the Rebel Legion and Saber Guild. She is also the founder of the LGBTQ+ affinity group for the major SW costume clubs, Pride Squadron. Her event planning experience also includes three large scale webathon events that featured interviews with Star Wars authors, actors, artists, and other professionals organized through the Rebel Legion, and a queer comics convention at her undergraduate university. She has years of experience interacting with Lucasfilm Fan Relations, and is excited to put her skills and experience to use to bring you an unforgettable event!

Corinthia

Events Coordinator

Corinthia has over six years of convention planning and venue coordination under her belt from working with a trade non-profit in her home state of Oregon, as well as over a decade of experience in graphic design, illustration, and various other creative ventures. Currently, she works for a wonderful ecological conservation non-profit as its Administrative Assistant. Corinthia is a newer Legends fan, only having discovered the EU after the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Immediately, she jumped right into participating and leading in various online fanclubs and communities. She is passionate about creating welcoming and engaging fan spaces; everyone deserves room to celebrate what they love about Legends!

Charles weilding a lightsaber outside the Falcon at Galaxy's Edge.

Charles

Treasurer

Charles Rogers has been a Star Wars fan for as long as he can remember. He watched the original trilogy dozens of times as a kid, then grew up through the era of the prequels. As a teenager, he discovered the EU through the Clone Wars multimedia project, Outbound Flight, and Legacy of the Force. He then spent his teenage years getting his hands on every EU book he possibly could and reading an absurd amount of Wookieepedia. He is an avid gamer (his favorite Star Wars game is Empire at War or Knights of the Old Republic, depending on which day you ask him) and he has been collecting Star Wars Legos off-and-on since 1999.

His voice might be more familiar than his face. Charles is the co-host of the weekly Star Wars podcast ‘Gold Squadron Gays’, where he puts his screenwriting degree to use analyzing Star Wars content with a fellow alum in tv production. He also is a cast member on the all-queer High Republic TTRPG podcast ‘For Light And Dice,’ where he plays a burnout-student-turned-space-trucker named Wynne. Despite his writing background, Charles is always looking to explore new things. He has jumped between doing short film work, theater production, and even producing live music shows. He is looking forward to bringing those skills to (and learning new ones from) Legends Expo’s incredible team.

Ryan wearing his light side Revan jedi robes.

Ryan

Networking Specialist

Ryan’s life was filled with hope when he saw The Phantom Menace and the original trilogy as a small boy. Not long after, Vector Prime tried to crush this hope with the moon of Dobido, but he somehow still became a fan of the Expanded Universe from that moment on. He cosplays frequently, works in the television industry, and explores the world with the love of his life, all of which comes back to a galaxy far, far away. The aforementioned love proposed to him in a Bastila Shan costume, and he wants all Legends Expo attendees to know it.

Emma in her Mara Jade costume with Imperial corridors in the background.

Emma

Social Media Manager

Emma’s love for Legends started with winning a library contest over 20 years ago. Of all the books offered as prizes, Jedi Apprentice: The Uncertain Path looked the most promising. Before that, she’d never purposefully sat down to watch a Star Wars movie, but that summer she tore through all 20 Jedi Apprentice novels, and has been consuming everything Star Wars ever since. Special nods in her journey go to the graphic novel adaptation of The Last Command, the KOTOR games, and anything about Mandalorians or clone troopers.

Her passion for Legends has led her to pursue many different avenues of creative expression: writing, drawing, cosplay, design… when forums gave way to social media, she followed, like the chronically-online individual that she is, eager to share her creations. Now she gets to continue helping to spread the word of Legends, as Legends Expo’s new Social Media Manager.

Casey posing with her cat.

Casey

Librarian and Vendor Liaison

Casey doesn’t remember ever not liking Star Wars. She was introduced to it so young that she has no memories of seeing the movies the first time, introduced by her dad. She does remember finally getting old enough to read the original Thrawn trilogy. She grew up reading the Expanded Universe alongside her older brother and playing with the action figures. As a girl in the 90s who liked Star Wars, being a fan could be tough, even after the prequels. Eventually, she found the online message board RPG scene, which allowed her to find like-minded people, including Lin, who she’s been writing Star Wars fanfic with for over 20 years. Now, as a youth librarian, Casey’s still fighting for Star Wars to make sure your local libraries have the books but also finds the world much more open to all fans, overall. She has a special place in her heart for Legends material as it’s a big part of her love of reading and all things fandom, which eventually led her to be a librarian. She’s happy to now be helping out find all the Expanded Universe vendors in the US she can to convince them to come exhibit at Legends Expo!

Lin

Librarian

Lin and Casey, a duo-team of Librarians, will be bringing their backgrounds in communication to the team to connect with Vendors and aid the Social Media team with text and images, and are both skilled Canva users. Lin & Casey are both fans of the EU and have read “a whole lot of Legends.”

Lorie in her Mission Vao cosplay holding a pride flag.

Lorie

Document Review Coordinator

Lorie is new to the Legends Universe after getting sucked in by her friends hyping up a little game called Knights of the Old Republic. She’s fallen in love with the EU and the diverse story telling and characters. Lorie can be seen repping Mission Vao at the Legends shoots. She’s incredibly grateful for how Star Wars has connected her with so many amazing people and allowed her to express herself creatively.

When not geeking out about Star Wars, she is working on cases at her firm as a paralegal. She’s an avid roller skater, leather worker and karaoke enthusiast. She has a special love for making costume belts from her favorite TV shows and video games.

She helps review contracts and other important documents for the Legends Expo team.

Joseph wearing a red Chicago Bears hat.

Joseph

Artist

Joseph’s passion for drawing started young, driven by his love for Star Wars. His parents introduced him to the original movies on VHS, and since then, Star Wars has been a constant in his life. As he grew, his interest expanded into the Star Wars Expanded Universe. The Knights of the Old Republic comics by John Jackson Miller were his first real introduction. He loved the artwork by Brian Ching and Dustin Weaver and often brought the latest issues to art class to draw the characters. Recently, Joseph has moved towards digital art, taking commissions and designing YouTube thumbnails and channel art. He’s excited to apply his passion for drawing Star Wars to the creative work of the Legend Expo team.

Austin in his Darth Revan cosplay, without the mask

Austin

Web Developer / Artist

A cosplayer and LEGO enthusiast, Austin does website development professionally and art as a hobby. Austin has a love of the Legends games such as Knights of the Old Republic and The Force Unleashed, was inspired by the art style of the 2003 Clone Wars micro-series, and loved the Jude Watson books as a kid. Austin will be bringing his professional web design and development skills to the 2025 event team.

As a librarian she serves the teen population in her community by providing after school outlets and leadership opportunities. She also volunteers her time on American Library Association award committees and often finds herself under a pile of books she’s never read before (she had over 500 seemingly random books in her living room in the winter of 2022 during her time on the Alex Award Committee). Beyond her professional and volunteering life, Kendra is also an enthusiastic enjoyer of the Star Wars franchise in all its forms. She is a member of several charity costume clubs and has completed 5 approved costumes (and counting).

Bill wearing his Old Republic era Jedi knight armor and robes.

Bill

Charity & Costume Club Liaison

Bill Holmes has been involved in the Star Wars costuming community for over 15 years. Star Wars first captivated his interest as a child, with an amazing galaxy that often mirrored his own experiences growing up in the Cold War. Bill never expected to become involved in costuming, but after reading the Dark Horse comic series Crimson Empire, he was inspired to recreate the character Kir Kanos. For Bill, Star Wars came alive in Legends with books, video games, and comics. The Expanded Universe painted a picture of a more complex universe with the Fel Empire that represented the Lightside with the Imperial Knights, with Darth Malgus, a Sith who can love, and in Kir Kanos, an Imperial fighting the enemies of Palpatine alongside the New Republic. Bill brings over 10 years of experience in organizing conventions including Planet Comic Con and Celebration.

A lifelong community manager,  Sebastien found his path to community relations through volunteer work with the 501st Legion.  He then took that to a professional career but life said otherwise, moving towards an agency he now runs to prepare for a career transition to photography, something he also discovered through Star Wars. After meeting Lynne Hale, Lucasfilm’s lifelong head of PR, she began to mentor Sebastien on his path to becoming a unit still photographer for film and TV.
