What is Legends Expo?
Legends Expo is a fan-run convention celebrating the original Expanded Universe books, comics, games, and other media that are now known as Legends.
We seek to create an event that brings together fans in an environment that fosters positivity and inclusivity while we celebrate our love of Legends material.

We are an unofficial community organized event, which is not sponsored, run by, or affiliated with Lucasfilm Ltd. All event proceeds will go to a charitable cause.
Who is hosting the convention?
A registered nonprofit corporation named Legends Enclave is hosting the convention. We are a group of dedicated Expanded Universe fans with professional experience in event management. You can find out more about our leadership team here.
What are the goals of Legends Expo?
- To host a dedicated convention for fans of Legends to gather and celebrate the books, comics and games that we love.
- To create a positive environment that does not tolerate bigotry, and is a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone who loves Legends.
- To support the creators of Legends content and celebrate their work,
- To support fan content creation by providing a place to showcase these works.
How is Legends Expo funded?
No one on the planning team is paid for their role, and we will not be making a profit off of this convention. All event proceeds will go to a charitable cause.
Like most conventions, the primary source of income for Legends Expo is from ticket sales and the sale of booth space in our exhibit hall. You can also support us via direct donations and recurring monthly contributions on our Ko-Fi page!
Any business sponsorship must come from official Star Wars licensees or promotional partner. If that describes your business and you would like to partner with us, please email us at LegendsExpo@gmail.com! If your business is not an official Star Wars licensee/partner, we would still greatly value your donations but unfortunately we cannot have you as an official sponsor. You can however become a vendor in our exhibit hall!

What Can I Expect to See and Do at Legends Expo?
Panels
The highlight of Legends Expo is the panels – we will have a full schedule of Expanded Universe authors, artists, editors and more engaged in panels, Q&As, seminars, and workshops, as well as some fan-led panels and events.
On the Exhibit Floor
Apart from vendors, artists, and special guests, you’ll also be able to explore fan-made props, costumes and displays focused on Legends material and the wider SW Galaxy.
Special Guests
Legends Expo will have a wide array of authors, artists, editors and more who contributed to the Expanded Universe, including greats such as James Luceno and Barbara Hambly.
Cosplay
Cosplay is highly encouraged! Some of our lead organizers are closely tied to the major SW costuming organizations and we plan to make this convention a fantastic place to bring your Legends (and other) costumes!
Other Activities
We plan have space set aside for tabletop gaming, swap meets for EU books and related items, and we hope to expand on the programming for gaming and crafts in that area at Legends Expo!
What type of exhibitors and vendors will there be at Legends Expo?
We are looking to have a variety of vendors, including ones selling books, props, art, games, collectibles, and more! We are seeking exhibitors relevant to Legends, but will also accept those relevant to the wide universe of Star Wars stories.
Will there be an Artist’s Alley?
Yes! We actively encourage artists to exhibit and we had many artists at our previous event. We are seeking artists and craft makers who create Legends works. Priority will be given to those with Legends content, but applications are welcome for creations from the wider universe as well. Is this an official Star Wars convention?
No. This event is not sponsored, run by or affiliated with Lucasfilm Ltd.
Is this event allowed to take place per Lucasfilm?
Yes! We have been in communication with Lucasfilm Fan Relations and have agreed to adhere to their guidelines for Star Wars fan events. We are very grateful to be allowed to organize this convention!
What is Legend Expo’s stance on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion?
Legends Expo strives to create a welcoming and inclusionary space for all Expanded Universe fans. Our volunteer team is made up of fans from all walks of life, and plan to bring their strong desire for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the Expanded Universe community to Legends Expo.
